The Washington Music Boosters received a grant in the amount of $54,209. The check was presented by the Washington County Riverboat Foundation during their fall grant ceremony held on Wednesday at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort. With this grant, all of the music departments for Washington Schools will get upgrades on various items. The band departments will receive various instruments, Stewart Elementary will receive new classroom risers that include storage for instruments, and new safer performance risers for the auditorium.
