This week, Mid-Prairie head coach Daren Lambert talked at practice about his keys to Friday.
Lambert said, “West Burlington Notre Dame returns a lot of same guys from last year, in a game where they were up on us 13-0 and it didn’t go the way they wanted. They have a lot of good athletes so we have to be prepared and sound on both sides of the ball. We have to stay focused, be detailed oriented, do our job, respond to those moments of adversity and celebrate those moments of success. The biggest key is to play disciplined football, in all aspects, at all points in time.”
