emergency-management

Jefferson County Emergency Management is seeking resident input to complete its Hazard Mitigation Plan.

Plans like these are designed to reduce the loss of life and property during disasters by minimizing the impact. The online survey will ask Jefferson County residents to rate the hazards that they feel affect their community most, as well as the ones they are most concerned about. These include, but are not limited to, drought, tornadoes, extreme heat, and winter storms. While the survey is anonymous, participants will be asked to provide their zip code.
