The Washington County Board of Supervisors approved a secondary road use permit at their Tuesday meeting for the Iowa Gravel Series, Kalona Horseshoe gravel bike race. The race will begin and end at the Kalona Historical Village. They are expecting between 75 and 150 participants total for the race. The event is to be held on May 11th beginning at 7:30 am.
