The first new welcome sign was installed in Washington on Wednesday morning on Hwy 1. These signs were made possible with the assistance of funding from the Hotel Motel Committee, the City of Washington, the Washington Betterment Foundation, the Washington County Riverboat Foundation, and the Chamber of Commerce. This is the first of two welcome signs, and wayfinding signs will be coming soon.
