The Washington City Council approved special event requests at their Tuesday meeting. Washington High School Activities Director Nathan Miller made the presentation for the upcoming fall parades. “Listed there, we have our homecoming on September 29th, and we will start that parade at 2, which is usually done around 3:30. And it is the same route that we have followed for many years. And then Heroes night will be September 15th and will be from the High School west parking lot at 4:30.”  The other special event request was made by Hospice of Washington County for their Annual 5k Memorial Walk that is to be held on September 16th. All requests were approved by the Council.
