All levels of the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk Archery Club will make the trip today to shoot at the Eddyville-Blakesburg Rocket Bullseye and 3D Invitationals. Mid-Prairie was last in action a week ago at the Cardinal shoots where the high school Hawks finished third of five schools in the bullseye contest, led by Elijah Statler in sixth individually for the boys and Kyla Karnes 20th for the girls. They were fourth of six teams in 3D with Caiden Sellers third for the boys and Karnes 15th for the girls. The middle school Hawks placed third of five teams in the bullseye event led by Tommy Miller, individual boys runner-up and Averi Janecek in seventh. For the middle schoolers, they were team runners-up in 3D with Miller claiming the individual boys title and Janecek 14th. The elementary Golden Hawks had Lara Brenneman sweep gold, winning both the girls bullseye and 3D contests while Beckett Miller was the top boy, 17th in bullseye and 33rd in 3D.

The Hawks are joined today by Albia, Cardinal, Ottumwa, Madrid, Oskaloosa, North Mahaska and the home Rockets. Action continues all day Saturday at Eddyville-Blakesburg High School.
