The first legislative briefing of the year for Washington County is to be held this Saturday, as January’s event was canceled due to weather.

The Washington Chamber of Commerce hosts monthly briefing events with state representatives Jarad Klein (R) and Joe Mitchell (R) and state senators Kevin Kinney (D) and Jeff Reichman (R). The public is invited to hear the legislators give updates on what’s happening during the current session and ask questions. The briefing will be held from 10 a.m.-noon in the second floor courtroom of the Washington County Courthouse. Briefings are scheduled for the third Saturday of the month now through April.
