Why worry about holiday shopping after Thanksgiving when you can reap holiday savings early, avoid long delivery waits, and support local businesses during a special upcoming promotion.

Main Street Washington is hosting Think Big, Shop Small from 5-8 p.m. this Friday. Main Street Washington Director Sarah Grunewaldt shares that downtown businesses are extending their hours and offering special deals and more to check the loved ones off your nice list, “A lot of the retailers are open, they have treats and specials and it’s just a really great way to kind of jump into your holiday shopping. A lot of times we see a bunch of ladies downtown with their friends just for a nice night out and just getting around and seeing what the stores have to offer. Whether it’s home decor or great gift items that they can share later in the season with their family.”
