clock

Clocks are moving back an hour this Sunday for the end of Daylight Saving Time.

At 2 a.m. this Sunday, Daylight Saving Time will end for the year and give Iowans an extra hour of sleep. Residents are encouraged to set their clocks back before heading to bed Saturday night. Daylight Saving Time also serves as a good reminder for everyone to check their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and change the batteries if necessary. Clocks will spring forward an hour on March 13th, 2022.
