This week, Mid-Prairie head volleyball coach Sherry Evans told KCII Sports what she liked most about the way her team is playing right now. “For us it’s about engaging, not giving up, playing with heart and playing the game that we know how to play. Controlling the things that we can control and doing them right. They are gelling really well together. They do everything we ask. They are so coachable and have great attitudes. I’m very proud of everyone, it takes a group effort from the players on the court to those on the bench to the coaches.”

Durant has won 17 of the last 19 matchups between these two schools, but the Golden Hawks swept the Wildcats a year ago. Mid-Prairie will honor seniors Cana Rediger, Maddie Nonnenmann, Ainsley Miller and Alyssa McDowell. Action starts tonight at 7:15p.m. at Mid-Prairie High School.
