As Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, schools and many offices will be closed to observe the federal holiday.

The Washington County Courthouse, Washington County Mini Bus, Washington City Hall, and public library will all be closed Monday. The city’s yard waste center will be closed Saturday through Monday for the holiday. Garbage routes will also run a day late for Washington residents. Post offices will be closed as well as most banking institutions.
