For the first time in three months, the Kalona City Council will conduct a regular meeting in person.

The council has met via Zoom since last November, and City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh says the council felt it was important to meet in person tonight given the importance of the public hearing on the city’s proposed 2022 fiscal year budget .Also on the agenda tonight is discussion of the city’s next Pop-up Pantry scheduled for this Saturday. New business includes possible action on the city’s law enforcement contract for fiscal year 2022.

Masks and social distancing are required for those attending tonight’s meeting which starts at 7 p.m. in the Kalona Community Center.
