As we move past the holiday season and into January, the Washington Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Lebowski’s Rock ‘N Bowl for an event to keep spirits high.

The two entities are hosting national touring comedian and University of Iowa alum Scott Long for a comedy dinner show on Thursday, January 7th from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and will include a barbecue dinner. Proceeds of the event will go toward the Chamber’s holiday lighting around the downtown square. Chamber Event Coordinator Alisha Davis says the Chamber wanted to host this event to supplement other fundraisers that were cancelled in the past year and to give something to entertain residents, “I’m excited for this. We’ve never really done anything like this, but I love going to comedy shows and I just think I’m excited to get our group of close friends together and have something to look forward to.”

Davis asks that attendees reserve a table of six to eight people to gather with your closest friends and family. There will only be 10 tables available that night, and they will be spaced six feet apart. For more information on the dinner show visit here.
