The rich tradition of Washington girls’ golf continued last week when one of their own signed to play at the next level.

Kiki Bruner put pen to paper her plan to hit the links at The University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. The Jennies are a part of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association conference and in the 2019 spring season they finished 15th at the NCAA Division II Championships. Bruner was the number one Demon golfer in her sophomore season before this past spring was cancelled due to the pandemic. She helped Washington to a sixth place finish at state in class 3A and was fourth individually. 

Bruner will have one final high school season this spring for a Demon team that will be an early favorite for a state title.
