The Ainsworth Four Corners Restaurant and Fuel Shop has made a donation to the Ainsworth Fire Department. Over the last three years, both organizations have helped to sell fireworks around the 4th of July holiday, with fire department staff running the tent and Four Corners setting up the location and handling other logistics. This year, Four Corners has donated $5,000 to the fire department.This donation will be used to purchase fire equipment and cover other department needs. The fire department and Four Corners remind individuals that while fireworks are often used to celebrate the fourth of July, they should be handled by an adult, used properly and at a safe distance.
