Riverside Mayor Allan Schneider has announced a city public health emergency. The mayor and the city are taking the precautions given by Governor Kim Reynolds in response to COVID-19 concerns and have closed city facilities to the public. This emergency proclamation went into effect on Wednesday at noon and will continue until April 17th at 11:59 a.m. During this time, utility payments can be made online or through the drop box, city officials will continue to operate out of the facility and can be reached by phone, and City Administrator Christine Yancey will work with the local emergency management agency to monitor the situation. Mayor Schneider encourages citizens to contact city hall by phone if they need more information or assistance.
