It was another day at the office for the WACO boys’ basketball team; as they continued their undefeated season last night with a 64-34 home win over Holy Trinity.
Leading 10-6 after one, the Warriors turned on the jets to take a 28-13 advantage at the break and 48-18 at the end of three to put the game out of reach. Pietro Vannini paced four players in double figures with 18 points and Drew Kissell tallied 17. Nik Coble recorded 12 points with 13 rebounds and set history along the way. The senior now has 849 career rebounds that broke the previous school record of 847. WACO improves to 17-0 on the season.
The girls could not do enough offensively and fell 36-27. Morgan Graber and Maysan Lee each had nine points to lead the now 3-15 Warriors.
The girls travel to Columbus tonight for the SEISC Shootout while the boys have New London on Tuesday.
