The goal of 5,000 diapers to be donated was met by the Washington Middle School Builders Club. This fall the students collected diapers of all sizes to give to local families with young children. Eighth-grade students Taylor Bartholomew and Reagan Stouder tell KCII News why they joined the club, Bartholomew said, “I wanted to join Builders Club because I heard that you can do things around our community. And I love working with others and being able to help people other than myself.” Stouder was on the same wavelength, “I joined Builders Club because I like helping the community and being a leader, and the Builders Club helps with that. And I love serving others.” The thousands of donated diapers were delivered by students to local daycares.
