A Riverside man has been arrested in Iowa City for abuse, endangerment, and burglary after a violation of a no contact order. According to the Iowa City Police Department, 33-year-old Nikolas Steven Hahn Petersen was arrested Saturday and charged with contempt violation of a no contact or protective order; domestic abuse assault impeding air or blood flow causing injury, a class D felony; sexual abuse in the second degree, a class B felony; endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor; and burglary in the first degree, a class B felony. He’s being held on $100,000 cash bond.

In September he was arrested in Riverside on multiple charges, months after pleading guilty to domestic abuse assault. And according to court records, in 2018 in Johnson County, he plead guilty to assault causing bodily injury. He’s being held at the Johnson County Jail.
