The transition into winter sports starts up tomorrow for KCII area schools, as the girls’ basketball season gets underway with the beginning of practice.

The first games of the season will be November 22^nd when Highland hosts a tournament along with Keota and Lone Tree. Hillcrest Academy meets up with English Valleys that same night, Sigourney has Cardinal, and Winfield-Mt. Union starts up their year facing New London. All of the other area teams will hit the floor Monday, November 25^th or Tuesday, November 26^th. The practices for boys’ basketball and wrestling will commence November 18^th.

Throughout the winter KCII will have game broadcasts for the girls and boys basketball teams from Washington, Mid-Prairie, and Hillcrest Academy.
