Beards and moustaches will again be sported by local law enforcement for No Shave November. In the last six years, local law enforcement has raised funds by growing beards during the month of November. In total $17,220.78 was raised for Hospice of Washington County in the last six Novembers.

This year, funds raised will go to Hawkeye Cans for Cancer which helps local families who are receiving cancer treatments by covering expenses like fuel, hotel stays, and meals. The organization was started after the passing of Nathan Guy. To sponsor an officer taking part in No Shave November contact local law enforcement or Hawkeye Cans for Cancer.
