The new cross country rankings have been released for week two by the Iowa High School Track Coaches Association. The Mid-Prairie girls cross country team has jumped back into the top spot after opening the season in the No. 2 position in class 2A. The Golden Hawks traded places with Williamsburg who was the number one team when the poll debuted last week. Individually, the Golden Hawks have a pair of runners in the class 2A rankings with Marie Hostetler in the top spot in the poll for the second straight week. Mitzi Evans checks in at No. 14.

The Mid-Prairie boys were unranked in the initial poll for 2019, but after a strong showing at Cedar Rapids Prairie last week, the Hawks climbed into the poll at No. 15 in class 2A.
