Plenty of postseason awards went around for the Highland baseball squad, as nine players were named to All-Conference teams in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference.

Jacob Leonard and Brody Burton headlined the selections being named to the first team. In his only year as a Huskie, Leonard led the league in batting average with .517 and was also effective on the bump with a 2.27 ERA in 24 2/3 innings of work. Brody Burton recorded a .477 on-base percentage and knocked in 16 runs.

Five players were named to the SEISC second team. Dan Burton had a team-high 25 RBI, Cael Yeggy had a keen eye with 16 walks, Bill Laughlin had a .378 BA, Trey Lasek finished with a .554 OBP, and Brady Hahn stole 12 bases.

Honorable mention selections included Cory Stewart and Chase Schultz. Stewart scored four runs and Schultz had a 4.48 ERA in his freshman campaign.

The Huskies finished the year 13-11.
