The Southeast Iowa Super Conference recently released its Academic All Conference list for the 2019 spring and summer sports season and numerous Highland athletes were recognized.

Huskies receiving the honor include Charlie Aicher, Alyssa Brase, Brody Burton, Matt Butler, Kayla Cerny, Alyssa Clarke, Abbie Clifton, Connor Grinstead, Megan Hoenig, Mackenze Hora, Yahir Jimenez, Shalyn Kirk, Bill Laughlin, Fiona Mahler, Carson Mellinger, Thomas Rittenmeyer, Justin Rodriguez, Jacob Roling, Jenna Sands, Emma Soukup, Emily Streb, Taylor Sublette, Kristi Thomann, and Kylie Wood.

To be eligible a high schooler must have had a 3.5 grade point average or better in the spring semester and be out for track, golf, tennis, soccer, baseball, softball, or be a manager.
