
A Wayland man has been arrested for allegedly stealing wages from his employees.
According the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, in October 2017 they opened an investigation into 44-year-old Curtis Wagler of Wayland and Wagler Manufacturing. It was found that in 2016 and 2017 over $1,500 was taken from employees’ paychecks. It was also found that Wagler committed forgery during the investigation. On Monday, Wagler was arrested and charged with three counts of forgery and one count of theft in the second degree. All charges are class D felonies. The U.S. Department of Labor Employee Benefits Security Administration and Henry County Sheriff’s Office worked together during the investigation.
