A man was arrested in Fairfield on Washington County charges of sex abuse and lascivious acts with a child Monday. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 10:53 p.m. Jefferson County authorities notified Washington County that they had arrested 28-year-old Colton Scott Keyes of Fairfield. He had violated probation on the original charges of sex abuse in the third degree and lascivious acts with a child. Bond was set at $10,000 cash only. He was transported from the Jefferson County Jail to the Washington County Jail. The original incident happened on April 16th in Kalona. He plead guilty in June of 2016 and was sentenced to five years of probation, a fine of $1,000, and a 10-year prison sentence was suspended.
