
Two men have been arrested in connection with a 2018 bank robbery in southeast Iowa.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, authorities arrested Ross Edward Thornton and Jordan Garrett Crawford. The two have been charged with aiding and abetting robbery in the first degree, a class B felony. The charges stem from a robbery at the Pilot Grove Savings Bank in Packwood in June of 2018. If found guilty, they could be sentenced to up to 25 years in prison.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office, Fairfield Police Department, Jefferson County Attorney’s Office, and the Keokuk County Attorney’s Office aided in the arrest.
