The jury trial for a Keswick man accused of molesting a child he was babysitting has been delayed.
According to court records, 33-year-old William Mann was arrested in January and charged with second-degree sexual abuse. The trial was originally set to begin April 9th. A motion to withdraw counsel was filed by Mann’s defense attorney. Once Mann was given new representation, a new trial date was set for June 18th. On April 8th, Mann filed a request for a new attorney. A few days later, Mann was assigned new representation. Currently, the trial is scheduled for August 2nd in Keokuk County.
