Mid-Prairie Middle School students found success in this year’s math olympiad program.

MPMS provided 35 of the nearly 160,000 students worldwide that participated this year. Rebecca Yoder spearheaded the program and tells KCII News the program consisted of five monthly contests. Participants would take a 30 minute test and their scores are compared to other students from around the world. Three Golden Hawks earned special pins. Griffin Caskey and Hannah Rodgers each received a silver pin as they finished in the 90th-97th percentiles. Jacob Flynn earned the golden pin, which signifies a finish in the top 2%.
