The Washington boys’ golf team welcomed five other teams for an 18-hole tournament Saturday on a beautiful day at Washington Golf and Country Club.
The Demons placed second with a team score of 351 while Pella took home the title with 314. Brock Sobaski was runner-up medalist with a 76, just behind Pella’s Will Simpson with a 75. Other Demon scoring included Brady Knutson with 85, Mitchell Driscoll with 94, and Caleb Tanner posted a score of 96.
Columbus Community also competed and placed sixth with 431. Evan Reese led the way with a 100, Gustavo Anaya had 106, Robert Coil was at 111, and Tucker Bright had a 114.
The Demons get back on the course today in Burlington and the Wildcats host Louisa-Muscatine tomorrow.
