A Wellman man was arrested when he was found driving a stolen vehicle. At 6:34 a.m. Thursday Washington Police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of South 2nd Avenue and East Jefferson Street. The vehicle was stolen out of Iowa County. Police arrested 26-year-old Rollin Bontrager of rural Wellman. He was charged with driving under suspension, operating a vehicle without owner’s consent, and fraudulent use of registration. He was taken to the Washington County Jail. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and made arrangements to pick up the vehicle.
