The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team hosts their annual 18-hole Golden Hawk Invitational Thursday afternoon at the Kalona Golf Course.

The Golden Hawks were last in action a week ago in a triangular against Washington and Columbus where they took second with a team score of 197. On the season Mid-Prairie has a 213 average per nine holes. The Hawks are led by Abbi Patterson and her 49 average. Joining the Golden Hawks at the event are Durant, Fairfield, Iowa City Liberty, Iowa City Regina, Tipton, West Branch, West Liberty, Williamsburg and Wilton. Action begins at 12:30 and will continue all afternoon and evening at the Kalona Golf Course.
