The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls track and field team has their only chance to perform in front of the home crowd Thursday night when they host the Golden Hawk girls relays.

Mid-Prairie was last in action at Hudson on Monday. The Hawks had three championship events with Marie Hostetler winning the 800 and 1500 while the Golden Hawk 4×100 team also took the title. Joining Mid-Prairie at their home meet are Alburnett, Fairfield, HLV, Mediapolis, Mount Vernon, Pekin, Solon, West Branch, West Liberty and Williamsburg. Action begins at 4:30 and continues into the evening at Dwight G. Sattler Field in Wellman.
