Victory was sweet Thursday night for the Washington girls’ track team, as they bested the whole field at the Rocket Relays in Eddyville.

The Demons placed first with 121 points while Fairfield came in second with 110. First place finishes for Washington included Victoria Hinson in the 800m run (2:48.66), Kelsey Pacha in the high jump (4’10’’), and Isabel Bailey in the long jump (15’11’’). Pacha also nabbed second place in the 200m (29.99) and 400m (1:07.25). Other second place finishes included Liaden Fillinger in the 800m (2:51.59), Ashley Telleen in the 100m hurdles (17.85) and 400m hurdles (1:13.41), and sprint medley relay (2:02.26).

The Demons get back on the track Tuesday at Mount Pleasant.
