The Iowa Mennonite School girls basketball team reached the Christmas Holiday with an overall record of 5-6.

They were beaten in the final game before the break at Highland 51-25. For the season, IMS is led by Suzanna Yoder at 28 points per game, most in the state regardless of class. Yoder also has the team lead with 42 assists, third most in the Southeast Iowa Superconference North Division. Yani Gutierrez leads IMS on the glass with 73 total rebounds, eighth most in the SEISC. The IMS girls open the second half of the season Tuesday when they travel to rival Lone Tree.
