Halfway through the season, the Washington girls’ basketball team is sitting pretty on the rebounding side of things, sitting at sixth in all of Class 4A in total rebounds as a team.
As a team, Washington has rebounded the ball a grand total of 319 times. The Demons have boasted a lot of height in the post all year long, with three different players standing at six feet or taller. Those three, Addison Six, Olivia Pacha and Phelan Hostetler, have all been factors in their success, all sitting in the top five on the team in rebounds.
The Demons have especially had success hauling in offensive rebounds. Where they’re sixth in Class 4A in total rebounds, they’re first in offensive rebounds as a team, boasting 156 as a unit. Addison Six has been particularly stingy on the offensive boards, as she currently has more offensive rebounds than defensive.
