The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team closed the 2018 portion of their schedule last week with a quadrangular at Benton Community High School.

At the meet the Golden Hawks saw Benton, Wilton and North Linn.

In their dual with the Bobcats, the Hawks were beaten 43-29. Mid-Prairie got wins in contested matches from David Murray at 152lbs by fall, Cory Allen at 170lbs by fall, Colton Allen at 182lbs by fall and Isaac Boucher at 220lbs by Tech fall 17-1.

Against North Linn, the Golden Hawks were beaten 34-28. Mid-Prairie got wins in contested matches from Cael Garvey at 160lbs by fall and Cory Allen at 170 by 8-0 major decision.

Against Conference rival Wilton the Golden Hawks were beaten 48-30. Mid-Prairie got wins in contested matches from Cory Allen at 170lbs by fall, Colton Allen at 182lbs by fall, and Isaac Boucher at 220lbs by fall.

After being swept, Mid-Prairie enters break with a 5-9 duel record.
