Another opportunity to visit the KCII Big Red Radio will be held in Washington Wednesday afternoon.

The KCII Big Red Radio will be at your Washington HyVee on behalf of McDonald Bone Yard from 2 to 4 p.m. KCII General Manager Joe Nichols shares why the company holds the food drive every year, “Well, it’s grown every year which is a great thing. Where we’re able to last year help nine different food pantries throughout the area. And you know, you’ve done it for so long I mean I think that they start to plan some of their giving through November and December, a couple of the busiest months, knowing that we’ll be coming in January to help them restock those shelves. It’s a good feeling when you can help others out, and we’re blessed to be able do that and help those in need.” Donations of non-perishable food and toiletry items can be dropped off at the Big Red Radio, at KCII, at participating businesses, or purchase pre-bagged items at your Washington HyVee.
