
A teenager was arrested in Washington after a foot pursuit with authorities.
According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 11:31 a.m. Saturday an officer reported being in a foot pursuit with a subject in the 100 block of North Marion in Washington. Two police units and a sheriff’s deputy assisted.Authorities detained 18-year-old Aaron Lucas Williams of Washington in the 300 block of North Marion. He was arrested for interference with official acts and given a warning for public intoxication and failure to cross in a crosswalk. He was taken to the Washington County Jail and remained in custody as of Monday. Earlier this year,Williams was arrested for felony eluding after going 120 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone, reckless driving, criminal mischief,failure to maintain control, driving on the wrong side of a two-lane highway, and driving under suspension. Williams has a plea hearing scheduled for January 4, 2019.
