A man was arrested after dispatch was notified of a domestic abuse situation in Washington late Sunday night.
According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 11:37 p.m. authorities received two calls about a domestic assault situation in the 800 block of North 8th Avenue. The male party said a female had a gun, while she said the man had the gun. Washington Police responded and arrested 26-year-old Oliverio Hernandez-Xolo of Washington for domestic abuse assault displaying or using a weapon and going armed with intent. He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
