The Washington boys’ basketball team plays their first home game of the season tonight, welcoming top-ranked Oskaloosa to town.

The Demons are coming off a loss on the road against Fairfield in which they were outscored by 18 points in the second half after being tied at halftime.  Cade Hennigan led the way for Washington with 12 points, eight of which came in the first half.

Tonight brings their toughest test yet in last year’s state runners-up in Oskaloosa, a team which features UNI commit Cole Henry and one of the top power forward recruits in the entire country in Xavier Foster.  Those two are averaging 17 and 16 points per game respectively so far this year.

You can catch tonight’s action live on FM 106.1 KCII starting with the Washington HyVee Pregame Show at 7:15 and a 7:45 tip-off.
