ACT scores for the Washington, Mid-Prairie, and Highland school districts for the class of 2018 finished ahead of the national average.

The 52 students from Mid-Prairie who took the ACT set the pace for Washington County with a composite score of 22.9, more than two points above the national average of 20.8. Highland High School students averaged a score of 21.8, which is right at the state average for composite scores. Students from Washington High School scored at or above the national average in all four individual subjects.
