The WACO volleyball team finished the year at 16-13, which was good for their first winning season since 2013.  It was a team effort all around, but four Warriors in particular were chosen for the SEISC South’s all-conference team.

No first-teamers for the Warriors, but junior Laney Graber was named to the second team.  She was named as a setter, as she finished fourth in the conference in assists, but it’s not like that was her only area of contribution.  Graber also dug it up 143 times and ended with 43 total blocks.

The other second-teamer is sophomore Aubri Garnsey, named as a defensive specialist.  She led the team and was top 15 in the conference in digs with 270 on the year, while also posting the second-highest service ace total on the team.

Two honorable mentions round out WACO’s all-conference selections.  Senior Nadiyah Brown earned one after finishing third in the entire conference in total blocks with 74, and fellow senior Kristen Conley earned one as well for her 140-kill, 76-dig season.
