The Northwestern College Red Raiders are out to a terrific start to the season with a 7-1 overall record.

They are currently ranked No. 6 in the latest NAIA poll. Former Iowa Mennonite School and Clear Creek Amana athletic standout Drake Brezina has contributed to the great start for the Raiders. Brezina, a sophomore, has appeared in all eight games this season for Northwestern as a linebacker. He has 11 total tackles this season, a blocked kick and a 21 yard punt return. Brezina’s blocked kick came against Hastings College in a 39-29 Raider win. His top game for tackles was four stops against Jamestown, North Dakota in a 49-7 Northwestern win.
