A person directing traffic northwest of Wellman was injured after being struck by a vehicle Saturday.

According to the Washington County Communications Center two 911 calls were received at 1:37 p.m. in reference to a person struck by a Blue truck on V Avenue north of 330th Street in Iowa County. The patient had head and arm injuries. Washington County Sheriff’s deputies, Wellman QRS, and Wellman Fire and Rescue all assisted at the scene. The names and condition of those involved have not been released.
