Brighton Whoopee Days could cease to exist next year without Chamber of Commerce leadership.
The Brighton Chamber of Commerce is looking for new board members and officers to fill spots left vacant by retiring chamber members. Chamber officers Trent Holtkamp and Nancy Adrian who have served since 2012 are stepping down. Outgoing Chamber Director Adrian says it has been a pleasure to be a part of the Brighton Chamber, but it is time for new leadership to step up with new thoughts and ideas so that the chamber can continue for many years and be a vital part of the community. The chamber is responsible for planning the town’s annual Whoopee Days Celebration, the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Breakfast with Santa, and has assisted with various other events. Officers are assisted by chamber members and volunteers in planning and producing the event. Whoopee Days 2019 will not be scheduled until other officers and members are added. For more information on joining the Brighton Chamber of Commerce contact Adrian at 319-863-3336.
