Thespians who enjoy dark comedy are invited to audition for the Washington Community Theater’s fall production of “Arsenic and Old Lace.”

The play was originally written by Joseph Kesselring in 1939 and has become best known through the film adaptation directed by Frank Capra starring Cary Grant. The Washington Community Theater is looking for three female and 11 male actors for the production. Please come with a resume and a short piece memorized, which doesn’t have to be from the show. Auditions will be held August 28th and 29th at 5 p.m. If you’d like to arrange another date and time contact the theater at wctheater.com.
