On August 14th the public will have the opportunity to weigh-in on an easement with the Kewash Trailhead.

The Washington County Board of Supervisors approved the public forum for their next meeting. The proposal in question would release the easement on the north portion of the trailhead. The trailhead consists of the land 50 feet to the north and 50 feet to the south of the middle of the trail. The trailhead is located in the city of Keota, between Vision Ag and Farmer’s Cooperative Association. Last year the Board of Supervisors released the southern portion of the trailhead from the easement back to the FCA. The next meeting of the Washington County Board of Supervisors is Tuesday, August 14th at 9a.m. in the basement of the Washington County Courthouse.
