Local author, Dr. Jean Wolf Logan is hosting a pair of book signings in Washington on Wednesday.

Logan, a Washington native, has written two historical novels, “Billy Love’s Wolfpack” and “Billy Love’s Forsaken Children”. Logan spoke with KCII about the inspiration behind her stories. “A lot of the characters in the book are loosely based upon family, so my mother is in the first book and she is a bull riding instructor and a costumer. In her real life she costumed for the Washington Community Theatre, so a lot of clothes in the first book were based on the costumes she had collected over the years. So it made a really great conversation kind of session with the people that attended the first book signing.”

The events will be 12-2p.m. at Cafe Dodici and from 5-7p.m. at the Washington Public Library.
